It looks like LinkedIn page managers will now have more options for managing divers teams of contributors to their LinkedIn page. As reported in Social Media Today, new tiers will provide new permission levels on the page, including the fancy-sounding “super admin.”
But does it come with a cape? 🦸🏼♀️LinkedIn has updated their page admin roles: https://t.co/zSLgN1UeLu pic.twitter.com/xCi7mR9EQ4

On your LinkedIn page, click the “Admin tools” dropdown and you’ll see a new tab called “Admin roles.” Click that, and you’ll see all the users who currently have access to your page. By default, they are likely labeled as “Super admins.”
(Note from LinkedIn: “These Admin roles are gradually rolling out and may not be available to you at this time.”)
Here are the new user roles available:
Super Admin - This is the master key to the page. Super admins can “manage everything on the Page” including editing the page and managing the other admins.
Content Admin – This role allows the person to publish posts, comment as the Page, and exports analytics.
Analyst – This role only views and exports analytics on Linkedin and will have limited access on 3rd party partners tools. They cannot post but will be able to access the Analytics tab of the page.
Curator - We haven;t seen this role in person yet, but it was mentioned on Twitter. This is essentially a role with the ability to recommend content for employees to post. They can also access analytics.
Additionally, there are 'Paid Media Admins' in a separate tab of the new Admin Roles settings page. These are the three available options:
Sponsored Content Poster – These users will be able to create ads on behalf of the Page through the LinkedIn Ads Account. Note that these ads will not show up on the organic Page posts feed.
Lead Gen Forms Manager – This role may be useful if you’re using Lead Gen ads that collect leads directly in the add. Lead Gen Forms Managers will be able to download these leads through Campaign Manager.
Pipeline Builder – This role is meant for users who need to be able to create and edit Pipeline Builder landing pages for recruitment purposes.
Here’s what the new levels look like, posted on Twitter by Peter Aspengren:
Organizations that have multiple requirements on LinkedIn will now have a much easier time managing access to their page, especially if you only want some employees/partners to access advertising tools without opening up the organic side to risk.
These new options could also open up new possibilities for community, ads, and content management, since it’s now easier than ever to invite someone to contribute in a limited capacity.
