Facebook announced an upcoming rollout of a very exciting, “most requested feature” for their suite of business tools: a way to publish and schedule Stories on mobile and desktop.
… Nice!!
This new feature is only available in the Facebook Business Suite (not Creator Studio). The Facebook Business Suite tool system was announced last year as an effort to better cater to the needs of small businesses.
Here’s how it works:
Click “Create Story” in the home tab, or navigate to “Posts & Stories” in the Business Suite app on iOS,Android or desktop
Create the Story
Choose “Schedule later” to choose a publish date and time
Find your scheduled content in the “Scheduled” list, where you can reschedule, delete, or publish now
The new feature also makes it easy to plan out Instagram and Facebook feed posts in one place. You can even save drafts for later that you’re not ready to schedule or publish yet.
Scheduling content is one of the most game-changing features a social media marketer can ask for. It has spawned countless apps from Hootsuite to Buffer and more.
Until now, scheduling Stories has been a challenge. Now that it’s available directly in the FB and Insta apps, we will all be taking a brand new approach to our strategies for Stories.
