Introducing BeFake—The New AI-Focused Social Media App

Meet BeFake, an AI-driven social media app that's challenging the very notion of authenticity online. Launched by Alias Technologies, this latest social app is all about letting your imagination run wild and creating AI-augmented visuals that are anything but ordinary.

As you might have already guessed, it’s directly targeting BeReal. Their name as well as their messaging alludes to the BeReal phenomenon. Look no further than their tagline: “Why be real when you can BeFake?”

According to Yahoo Finance, BeFake is designed to be an “ingenious antidote to the conventional reality portrayed on existing social media platforms.”

It AI to transform text prompts into captivating visuals. You can go from snapping a regular selfie to creating an AI-augmented masterpiece that's as unique as you are.

Former Machine Zone CEO Kristen Garcia Dumont founded parent company Alias Technologies as an AI company. According to VentureBeat, she previously led the development of two of “the most profitable mobile social games globally,” including Game of War and MobileStrike.

Why it Matters
