Job Title: Content Creator
Reports to: Creative Director

We specialize in helping relational brands amplify their impact online by partnering with them on everything from strategic consulting and original content creation to media buying and community management. We're seeking a Social Media Content Creator to join our team. Our ideal candidate is actively creating social media content (personally or professionally) and has a passion for storytelling. You're a creative storyteller who stays on top of the latest social media trends and can translate brand messages into engaging content across various platforms.
He or she is a true team player who is proactive, has a positive attitude, is super curious, and meets the following requirements:
Education in a relevant degree, or demonstrable experience in social media content creation
Passion for all things social media and a desire to create innovative work in the space
Proven ability to create high-quality, engaging content using just a smartphone
Experience with brainstorming, concepting, and developing creative briefs
In-depth knowledge of primary social media channels and how to maximize success with various content formats
Strong communication and project management skills
Experience producing digital content, including photography and video
Proficiency in social media content creation and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, InShot, iMovie, Mojo, Pixlr)
Creative mindset with an eye for visual aesthetics and engaging storytelling
Ability to adapt quickly to new trends and platform updates
Experience with short-form video creation for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels
Strong writing skills for developing concise, engaging social media copy
Familiarity with social media scheduling and management tools
Ability to travel locally for video shoots and events
Flexibility for occasional after-work-hours shoots when necessary (evenings, weekends, or during work-from-home days).
As our Social Media Content Creator, you'll work closely with our team to develop and implement creative social media content for our clients. Here's what your day-to-day duties might entail:
Collaborate with the Senior Social Media Strategist to understand client communication priorities and identify content opportunities across social media platforms
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for client campaigns
Develop creative briefs to guide content creation and ensure alignment with client goals
Actively leverage the latest social media trends and creative best practices and apply them towards content creation for our clients
Create compelling, on-trend content primarily using a smartphone, including photos, videos, and graphics
Produce short-form videos specific to TikTok and Instagram Reels
Develop engaging copy for social media posts, including captions, headlines, and descriptions
Capture authentic, in-the-moment content for clients during on-site visits or events
Work with the Creative Director to design and execute content using existing client artwork and assets
Edit and optimize content using mobile apps and tools
Publish content natively and through our scheduling software
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and platform updates, reporting insights to the team and collaborating with team’s trend spotter
Contribute to the development of content calendars and social media strategies
Optimize content based on performance metrics and client feedback
Maintain a consistent brand voice across all client social media channels while adapting to platform-specific best practices
