Meta recently launched AI Studio, a new platform that allows users to create, share, and discover AI characters without requiring any technical expertise.
Powered by Meta’s Llama 3.1 AI technology, AI Studio enables Brands, Creators, and any other interested users to design custom AI personalities for various purposes, such as:
Interact with audiences 24/7
Answer common DM questions
Provide relevant advice
Respond to story replies
Share facts or offer personalized tips
Link to favorite brands and past content
Here’s how to get started:
Visit AI Studio: Go to ai.meta.com/ai-studio or start a new message in Instagram and tap “AI chats.”
Name Your Bot: Give your AI a unique name, choose its personality traits, set its tone, and design an avatar that represents your brand or personality. Users can create AI characters using prompt templates or start from scratch.
Define Its Role/Knowledge Base: Decide whether your AI will be used to entertain, educate, or assist with customer service.
Under the “Knowledge” tab, you can further shape your AI character’s personality and behavior such as by providing specific instructions and example responses.
Under the “Introduction and capabilities” tab, you can customize the welcome message, add conversation starter prompts, and test the bot in a sample chat window.
Publish and Share: Once your AI is ready, you can share it with your followers or make it discoverable by anyone on Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, or the web.
