LinkedIn has rolled out an updated Post Analytics window meant to make measuring LinkedIn engagement easier and more insightful.
The new metrics are not yet widely available, but promise to include:
Details about who is reading your LinkedIn updates
Filters by job title, industry, location, and more
How many Reactions each post has received
The move is meant to make it easier to understand what content is resonating with the people you want to reach.
The announcement of this change included a few other upcoming releases, too, such as:
Better Feed curation capabilities
Group moderation improvements
Inbox management upgrades
Live Q&A Office Hours with LinkedIn Learning hosts
Additionally, a LinkedIn Podcast Network is rolling out now—it will be interesting to see how this develops!
Once available, these metrics will be at your fingertips to help you better measure the success of LinkedIn posts. Be sure to check these and adjust tactics accordingly.
