Job Title: Social Media Strategist
Reports to: Associate Director of Strategy
Location: Cincinnati, OH

Dooley Social Studio is a Cincinnati-based, full-stack social media agency led by twins, Keri and Matthew. We specialize in helping relational brands amplify their impact online by partnering with them on everything from strategic consulting and original content creation to media buying and community management. We're seeking a Social Media Strategist to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a strong relationship-builder who listens well and takes action. You're passionate about social media and have a knack for developing and implementing unique strategies across both organic and paid channels.
He or she is a true team player who is proactive, has a positive attitude, is super curious, and meets the following requirements:
Education in a relevant degree, or demonstrable experience in social media strategy
3-5 years of experience servicing clients, demonstrating strong communication and project management skills
Passion for all things social media and a desire to work in the space
In-depth knowledge of the primary social media channels (e.g. Meta, TikTok) and how they best work together to support specific strategies
Experience managing the production of digital content, including photography and video
Proficiency in social media analytical tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and the ability to produce insightful reports
Passion for maintaining strong client relationships and providing excellent customer service
Proven ability to work closely with cross-functional teams such as data and analytics, creative teams, and paid media to support full client needs
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
Experience with paid social media campaigns and influencer marketing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Adaptability to changing trends and platform updates in the social media landscape
As our Social Media Strategist, you'll be primarily responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of our clients' unique social media strategies. Here's what your day-to-day duties might entail:
Lead and support key client accounts
Manage each client's scope of work to ensure services are delivered according to set expectations
Work with our Creative Director and external creative resources to plan, develop and execute campaigns and content across channels
Collaborate with our Community Managers to build and grow an online community around our client brands
Manage the distribution of client content, from paid media to micro-influencer marketing
Produce regular and ad hoc reports based on established KPIs for each client
Identify growth opportunities
Identify opportunities to expand the scope of client social campaigns and engagement
Assist in the refinement of Dooley's service offerings and pricing
Assist in identifying solutions to enhance internal processes and organization
Create and drive industry best practices
Lead training sessions and workshops for both employees and clients related to evolving social media tools and methods
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices and other information beneficial to clients and colleagues and report both verbally and in writing
Advance Dooley's credibility and reputation
Demonstrate Dooley's industry leadership by sharing knowledge via online and offline channels, such as speaking or writing
